Most likely in my opinion. because i think it would make much more competition for the available jobs, everyone would be applying to every job listing they saw even if they weren’t qualified, in a slim hope that they would land the job…it would most likely be chaos, there would be more thievery because people would be in a last- ditch effort to feed their families….suicide rates may also rise too…because in the event of losing their job (with no unemployment) a person would be under great amounts of stress, and may become depressed thinking that they will never have another job..thus they would do things they wouldn’t do if in the right state of mind…but this is just my opinion…i have no factual evidence to back it up…

Right now, it’s 6.5% and rising daily. In the next few months, I would not be shocked to see it go to 8, 9, or even 10%. What was the unemployment rate during the great depression in the 30′s, and do you think the country is headed for another great depression?

I believe it was about 25% in 1933.
